To be attributed to Detective Senior Sergeant Kim Libby, Waitemata Police
Police can now release the name of the man found deceased at a Glen Eden property on Saturday afternoon.
He was 39 year-old Dennis Mau’u.
The enquiry into Mr Mau’s death is ongoing however at this point Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
A woman who was in the same room as Mr Mau’u and was taken to hospital in a serious condition is now recovering.
One strong line of enquiry is that the pair have become unwell after taking a substance.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out this morning, but Police are now waiting for toxicology results ?to provide further details. These results are not expected for several weeks.
